I am a 45 year old transgender father and author. My son is my whole world. My wife and I picked him up from the NICU when he was only three days old. He spent his first two years with us in foster care before the adoption was finalized. He was created in our hearts long before the day he was born. Since the first time I held him in my arms, I have never let go. I never will. He is the greatest thing I’ve ever done.
